About

The group is a voluntary group of individuals who are interested in the history of Crumlin, Walkinstown and their environs. 

The primary aims of the group are:

  • To encourage research into and the recording of the local history, archaeology, folk-life and folklore of the area.
  • To preserve and protect local heritage.
  • To facilitate the exchange of information among members and the local community by means of publications, lectures, seminars, exhibitions and visits.     
  • To co-operate with other groups, bodies and associations, statutory or otherwise, involved in protecting, preserving and developing local history, heritage and culture.
