Waterpark (Water House)

This is believed to be the house mentioned by Finola Watchorn in ‘Crumlin and the way it was’ as Water House: Poddle Park “was merely a cart track to Water House which was owned by the Perry family around the 1920s.” A market garden surrounded it according to the 1938/60 Ordnance Survey map. The site is at the end of the present Poddle View. A court case indicates the house was set on fire in 1990.
