We’re delighted to launch a new Heritage Signage Scheme to highlight the rich history of our local area. As part of this initiative, we will be installing informative signs at notable buildings, landmarks, and sites of historical interest, including those connected to significant people, events, and themes from the past.

Each sign will be A2-sized, made of durable metal, and include:

• Concise, well-researched historical information by our research volunteers.
• Illustrations and photographs to bring the story to life
• Sign translated in both Irish and English
• A QR code linking to further research, compiled by dedicated local volunteers

All signs will be installed with the permission of property owners and local authorities.

You can support this project by sponsoring a sign.

• Cost: €150 – this covers the manufacture, production, and installation.
  All costs of research and design will be done by volunteers. There is no profit made on these signs.
• Recognition: Your name or logo will appear on the sign as a valued supporter
