John E. Flood, Sundrive Rd., Kimmage, Dublin; Robert Myers, Florence Tee., Leeson Park Ave., Dublin; and Wolfe _Cherrick, South William St., Dublin, were each fined £ 1001 by District Justice Lennon,.in Dublin, for having harboured ciuantities of prohibited electric bulbs.
Similar charges against Harold Smith, Casimir Rd., Kimmage, and Charles Cope, Harcourt St., were dismissed.
It was stated during the hearing, which began in January, that the goods, of Japanese origin, had been purchased from a man who brought them from Northern Ireland. The transactions took place in _193S, and the goods were seized in March, 1939. by the Revenue officers.
