CRUMLIN ROAD AREA COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER, 1949
NOTICE is hereby given that the Right Honourable the Lord Mayor, Aldermen, and Burgesses of Dublin (hereinafter called “the Corporation”), in pursuance of the powers vested in them by Part III of the Housing of the Working Classes Act, 1890, on the 21st day of May, 1949, made an Order which will be submitted for confirmation by the Minister for Local Government, authorising them to purchase compulsorily, for the purpose of Part III of the Housing of the Working Classes Act, 1890, the lands described in the Schedule hereto.
A copy of the said Order and of the map referred to therein has been deposited at the office of the Dublin City Manager and Town Clerk, City Hall, Dublin, and may be seen at all reasonable hours.
SCHEDULE
The area to which the Order relates is bounded as follows:
- On the North by the rear of Nos. 19, 21, 23, and 25 Knocknarea Road, and the lands adjoining the northern boundary of Nos. 10 and 11 Rafter’s Road.
- On the East by lands adjoining the rear of No. 11 Rafter’s Road.
- On the North again by lands adjoining the rear of No. 7 Rafter’s Lane.
- Again on the East by lands adjoining the eastern boundary of No. 7 Rafter’s Lane.
- On the North again by lands adjoining the rear of Nos. 1 to 6 Rafter’s Lane.
- Again on the East by land adjoining the eastern boundary of No. 1 Rafter’s Lane.
- On the South by Rafter’s Lane.
- On the East again by Rosemount House.
- Again on the South by Crumlin Road.
- On the East again by No. 361 Crumlin Road, Raphoe Road, and No. 108 Raphoe Road.
- Again on the North by the rear of Nos. 86, 88, 90, 92, 94, 96, 98, 100, 102, 104, 106, and 108 Raphoe Road, and the laneway adjoining No. 1 Windmill Road and the rear of Nos. 3, 328, 5, 6, 7, 336, 338, 340, 342, and 344 Kildare Road.
- On the West by the rear of Nos. 358, 360, 362, and 364 Kildare Road and No. 409 Crumlin Road.
- On the North-West by Crumlin Road.
- Again on the West by the Electricity Supply Board’s Transformer Station and the rear of the even Nos. 36 to 132 (inclusive) Slievemore Road.
